The Fairwoods on 7 community is situated in a park-like setting with winding roads, beautiful landscaping, ponds, and about 100 custom-built homes. Several Fairwoods on 7 homes overlook the Pinehurst No. 2 US Open Course. Residents can drive their golf carts to Pinehurst Country Club’s varied amenities and the charming Village of Pinehurst, a National Historic Landmark. The mix of retirees and working professionals creates a vibrant community that blends easily while providing privacy for all.
Fairwoods On 7 Members have access to their own clubhouse/range, restaurant, tournament schedule, and several social events as well as access to the Pinehurst #8 course for a $20 cart fee. The Dining Room serves a full lunch and is known for its fabulous Cobb Salad, Burgers, and Chef Specials. The Halfway House is also a great dining option. The popular night is Thursday when they have a prime rib dinner. Another great community in Pinehurst is The Country Club of North Carolina. Established in 1963, The Country Club of North Carolina is a member-owned club with over 400 Luxury Homes. This private gated community is situated on 2,000+ acres of longleaf pines that includes three picturesque recreational lakes and 2/18hole championship-caliber golf courses.
The Dogwood course was designed by Ellis Maples and Willard, and the Cardinal course was designed by Willard Byrd and Robert Trent Jones. Jack Nicklaus, Ben Crenshaw, and Hal Sutton are just a few golfing greats who have won championships at CCNC. The Club lifestyle is especially appealing to families with children who can enjoy active youth golf, tennis and swimming programs, and more.
CCNC is one of the most prestigious clubs in the US. CCNC lies on over 2000 acres of land which include three lakes (the largest, Lake Watson, is sixty acres) and two eighteen-hole golf courses of world-class caliber. Both CCNC courses are rated in the top 15 in North Carolina and the Dogwood course has been rated as one of the top courses in the world. If you’re interested in a private golf community it doesn’t get any better than CCNC. CCNC is centrally located near the area shops, the Pinehurst Village, and the best local restaurants.
