Completed in 1931, One Wall Street stands at 1 Wall Street as a distinguished Art Deco skyscraper designed by Ralph Walker of Voorhees, Gmelin & Walker. This 50-story limestone-clad landmark is celebrated for its elegant setbacks, rippling curtain-like façade, and a crystalline crown that defines Lower Manhattan’s skyline. Its interior once housed the lavish “Red Room”—a soaring mosaic‑clad banking hall—now beautifully restored with over 13,000 ft² of red, orange, and gold mosaics designed by Hildreth Meière.
Following acquisition by Macklowe Properties, the building underwent a massive office-to-residential conversion, completing in 2023. It now features 566 condominium units ranging from studios to penthouses, along with over 100,000 ft² of amenity and retail space—including a Whole Foods—and restored public areas such as the Red Room and lobby.
