Pennsylvania Station

The original Pennsylvania Station in New York City, opened in 1910, was one of the most magnificent and celebrated examples of Beaux-Arts architecture in the United States. Designed by the renowned architectural firm McKim, Mead & White, the station featured a monumental colonnaded exterior inspired by Roman baths and temples, and a vast, light-filled concourse with soaring steel-and-glass ceilings.
